Untitled

If only I had known

You'd get exhausted forgiving one day

You'd hate what you love yesterday

You'd think love has a limit

I may not have taken forgiveness for granted

Would not have nagged so much in love

Realization came with a heavy ransom

Pay my life to escape seeing love fading away.

Love ain't mad though lovers are

Blindness in love is never a choice

To stumble and fall is the only chance

For lovers to taste the bitterness of love.

Storms don't last long nor sunshine

Only a blessed few escape unscathed

Seasoned together through tribulations

Wish I could be reborn to be that blessed few.

When breathing is no longer fun

When the morning breeze seems to sing only dirge

I wish I could wipe the board clean

To rewrite my biography in full white

To call you back to love me again

Revive the fire that seems to be dying too fast

To treat love and life as the rarest gem.
