Love away from Love

LOVE AWAY FROM LOVE

Being too sanguine in love was a crime
Thinking love is sacrosanct I presumed
NOTHING will obstruct our union
Days of wailing really dawn unannounced
Distance (the sweet escapade) took me away from love.
Suffocation days are finally gone
Wound of love is healed but scar remains.

The key of love is now corroded
The alarum of pain sounds unceasing.
Hoping to forget the rusted past
And to pilot my unfathomed grief
I walked away from home
To seek a philosophic home away from home
To discover love away from love.

I have finally exiled my soul from home
Finding my path in a smoking city
Coming home late is something beyond addiction
Eager to steal a bite off corporate life.
This sucking journey nurtures my thought
Was born in the hills welcomed in the plains
Where romanticism is extinct, I now realize
Those days were simply a nightmare
To visualize love as a complete world,
Reality bites I still survive sans love.

Yet there are still sleepless nights to haunt,
Long forgotten shapes and contours resurface
To verify that I have trodden on fire once
The penance of unfulfilled love I bear.
Sometimes, me think it’s the heart that wails,
My efforts to feign positive thinking crashes
Whenever I see the remnants of the past
Where my heart was so near to love.

True love is a stage in the journey of love where most lovers fail to reach. It is the culminating point, where, even after getting to know the weaknesses of the other person you still believe that you love him/her just the same as you used to love. It is a milestone at which point you shed all your false skin. This is a litmus test and the point of partition for countless love affairs. Most love affairs skip this test and end up in a terrible crash after marriage, meaning you finally discover a person whom you hardly know, though you have wasted your precious life trying to understand him/her. True love is not a mythical heaven but your way of looking at it was unrealistic if you fail to experience it in your long run. You have seen one side of the coin try to force your way to see the other side. Promises abound when you are invited to a heaven which is false, find the true heaven of love through practical unspoken service. Words like “I love you more than I love myself,” “You are the only soul in this whole world,” and “I cannot live without you,” will always be simply words, no matter how much you try to ornament them. Be practical and wake up from your dream and confess all your weaknesses and the dark side of you. You will most probably find her/him gone the next morning. If you find her/him still with you, be happy you are on your way to live a life sans pretending. But, beware you are about to gamble with love to find true love. Watch out!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! If you are lucky it is yours but if you are bad in gambling with life you will end up searching for it till…….So for most of us love is kaffi don’t try to search for true love.
